Speed-Trap has become the latest two star Accredited Associate Subscriber, after successfully delivering an audit with direct.gov.uk, a Speed-Trap client. As an Associate Subscriber, Speed-Trap has proven its ability to accurately measure and deliver web site traffic statistics that meet agreed industry standards as set by JICWEBS (the Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards – www.jicwebs.org) and internationally agreed by the IFABC.

The ABCe Associate Subscriber Scheme encourages and enables suppliers to the new media industry to demonstrate their support for industry-agreed standards, as set by JICWEBS (http://www.jicwebs.org/)*. Suppliers to the industry such as web analytics suppliers, hosting companies, advertising agencies and trade bodies are all eligible to join the scheme.

The Associate Subscriber Scheme promotes and also encourages discussions between the subscriber and ABCe, to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals, so providing added value to ABCe’s clients. Associate Subscribers can also participate in the ABCe Internet Technical Group (ITG) meetings which are designed to ensure all clients and their suppliers can participate in developing and evolving the industry-agreed rules and methodologies.
