Speed-Trap signs reseller deal with BIMA
Online customer insight provider expands into new market and new applications via partnership with France-based marketing experts BIMA Consulting
November 19th, 2008, Newbury Speed-Trap, the online customer insight providers, have signed a reseller partnership with BIMA Consulting, the French business intelligence, marketing automation and real-time decisioning experts – the first agreement of its kind for Speed-Trap in the French market. The arrangement will allow BIMA to sell Speed-Trap’s technology and solutions as a part of their marketing optimisation services, and will use their real-time decisioning expertise to develop solutions using Speed-Trap’s RTE real-time components.
Speed-Trap’s “UI Capture” solutions utilise Web 2.0 technology which captures complete customer experience and behavioural information on a real-time basis, from the client device entirely without the use of traditional page tagging.
Speed-Trap’s VP Operations, Malcolm Duckett, comments, “We have partnered with BIMA Consulting to resell our software in France recognising their pedigree in providing business intelligence and marketing automation solutions. We are launching into a new territory and in so doing, we had to be certain that we had selected a proven route to market – BIMA’s experience within the French market and extensive customer base allows us to maximise our potential. Moreover, we believe their skills in the real-time arena very much compliment the real-time components we launched at the start of the year.”
Specialising in Business Intelligence and Marketing Automation (the origin of the name “BIMA”), BIMA will extend its current products and services by utilising Speed-Trap’s unique technology to capture and exploit all possible customer data in real-time and automate marketing activity.
